Our Aim

The Ballymun Local Drugs Task Force endeavours to bring about a reduction in the number of people misusing drugs or developing addictions in the area. We aim to ensure that the Ballymun area becomes a healthier and safer place for people to live and for children to grow up in.

We are committed to reducing the numbers of people developing addictions in the area by providing relevant information, education, awareness and early interventions and by supporting initiatives in the area which provide positive life options for younger people. We are committed to ensuring that those with drug related problems, be they drug users, family members, concerned persons or members of the general community, are fully supported by a full range of integrated service responses including treatment, support, aftercare and rehabilitation.
